Fall 2026 | Montréal
GO AHEAD TURN is an independently produced feature-length hybrid documentary exploring cultural inheritance, poetic knowledge and the relationship between a filmmaker, his father and his son. Now entering its final post-production phase, the film is being prepared for festival exhibition and distribution.
Concordia graduate students and advanced undergraduate students are invited to join a small sound-editing team based at the university’s Centre for Digital Arts.
Working with filmmaker and professor Frank Sanna and supervising sound designer Bruno Pucella, you will help build the film’s soundtrack in Pro Tools, working progressively through picture-locked scenes in preparation for the final sound design and mix.
Who should apply: creative students with a serious interest in sound and in developing their practice in film sound editing. Prior digital-audio experience is expected. Care, reliability, initiative and an attentive approach to sound are essential.
- Strong candidates able to commit one full day per week are encouraged to apply.
- Qualified Concordia students not seeking academic credit may also apply.
- Beginning late September 2026
- One or two full days per week
